The progress this year comes with the completion of successful pre-clinical animal studies which demonstrated the ability of a proprietary radio-controlled immediate release SmartTab Capsule delivery system to deliver the test article to a targeted area of the gastrointestinal tract and compare plasma pharmacokinetics to that observed after oral delivery of caffeine in Yorkshire-Cross farm swine.
