SmartTab was honored to present at the 2021 Annual CU Boulder Alumni Pitch Session on August 25th via Zoom Webinar, pitching our novel drug delivery platform to a panel of 100+ alumni, VCs & selected corporate partners in hopes of receiving funding, investment, and marketing opportunities.
SmartTab Founder and CEO, Robert Niichel, is an alumnus of University of Colorado, earning his graduate degree in Biochemistry. This event is meant to connect CU Boulder Alumni founders with the PNP network of Corporates and Venture Capitalists working to transform critical industries including healthcare in the 21st century. SmartTab recently pitched at Plug and Play's Health Tech Sessions only just a few months ago.
Robert Niichel got his graduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in Biochemistry. Niichel found the pharmaceutical industry fascinating and knew that it was an opportunity to improve people’s health. After about 12 years researching, developing and project management in that space, Niichel was bursting with drive and ideas to found a startup—Nano Pharma Labs, also known as zümXR.
Once him and his team were successful at applying innovative pharmaceutical drug delivery technology to the sports nutrition space, they were ready to solve an even bigger problem. How do we deliver medication more effectively into the human body? That's when SmartTab was born. The team realized the combination wireless technology with active ingredient pharmaceutical drug delivery has the potential to truly transform how effectively medication is delivered for generations to come.
